President Search Committee Mercy High School is seeking a new PRESIDENT for the 2010 - 2011 school year. The President is responsible for the business aspects of the administration including budgeting, finances and investments, advancement operations, strategic planning, public relations, buildings and grounds and the external operations of the institution. |
| Shootin' Hoops
Twenty-three alumnae came out to play some ball on December 27. Alumnae, parents and friends cheered from the stands as the Maroon team took on the Gold team in an alumnae vs alumnae game. The Maroon team, coached by Karen Kluk Rotondo '80 and Lisa Morris '80, won 43-30. Click here to check out some pictures from the game!

Open House If you know a 7th or 8th grade girl tell her to stop by the Mercy Open House on February 7th from 1:00-3:00pm. Open House is an unique opportunity for prospective students and families to have a guided tour, meet Mercy faculty and staff, see the newly renovated science facilities and most of all discover what it means to be a Mercy Girl!

Lenten Series Mark your calendar to spend time with other Mercy women at these two special events during the Lenten Season.
Spiritual Yoga Session
Grace Seroka, yoga instructor at Manresa Jesuit Retreat House, will lead a spiritual yoga session focusing on the season of Lent. Reflections on the Stations of the Cross will be woven into some of the postures. Beginners welcome. $10 registration fee. Love Does Such Things
Sister Rachelle Harper, RSM '52 will lead us in a conversation on how God's love for us calls us into a specific way of being and responding to life. Amazing Auction
The Auction will be held on February 27 at the Diamond Center at the Rock Financial Showplace and is sure to be an elegant evening. Tickets are $125/per person. If you graduated from 1989-2009 a special ticket price of $85/per person is offered! RSVP today to support Mercy. The Mercy Auction Committee is still searching for some wine, "just for him" items and electronics. Tea for Tuition
The 6th Annual Tea for Tuition will take place on Sunday, April 25 from 2-4pm. This afternoon event supports the Alumnae Association Tuition Assistance Fund. Typically 10 deserving Mercy students receive a $1,000 award scholarship thanks to this event. Be a table hostess and invite friends and family to enjoy an afternoon at Mercy.
