The Varsity team concluded the regular season with a come-from-behind 52-45 win over Detroit Pershing in the Operation Friendship consolation game. Candice Leatherwood was outstanding, scoring 16 points, along with 6 rebounds and 3 assists, and did a terrific job of handing Pershing's relentless pressure. Sarah Benson had a nice second half and tallied 16 points; Sierra LaGrande was very good in the second half, scoring all 8 of her points; Allie Gorcyca added 7 points; Sam Bauer had 5 points and 5 boards; Tyler Parlor had 4 rebounds and Paige Roberts gathered 2 rebounds.

The Varsity team's hope of capturing back-to-back CHSL titles was not to be, as the Marlins ran into a red hot Divine Child team, and lost 53-36. Allie Gorcyca had 10 points, while Candice Leatherwood added 9 points and 3 assists. Sam Bauer tallied 5 points and 6 rebounds; Meghan Tarrance had 4 points; Tyler Parlor added 3 points and 7 boards; Natalie Capatina and Michaela Mazur each scored 2 points. The team is now 14-5.
The Varsity Marlins rallied in the second half to defeat Ladywood 45-37 in the Catholic League semifinals. Candice Leatherwood led the team with 16 points (11-12 on free throws) and 4 assists. Allie Gorcyca tallied 10 points and 6 rebounds; Sarah Benson had 8 points and 6 boards; Sam Bauer chipped in with 4 points and 11 rebounds; Tyler Parlor added 3 points and 6 rebounds; Michaela Mazur had 2 points and 3 boards; Sierra LaGrande added 2 points and 2 rebounds; Paige Roberts had a rebound.
The JV Marlins defeated Marian in CHSL semifinal play, by a score of 36-19. With the win, the team advances to the CHSL final, versus Regina, The game will be played on Friday, at Divine Child, at 7:00.
The Freshman Marlins beat Notre Dame Prep 45-29 in a CHSL semifinal. The team now will play in the CHSL championship versus Ladywood. The game will be played on Friday, at Divne Child, at 5:30.

The Varsity Marlins began defense of their Catholic League crown with a 61-30 quarterfinal win over Cabrini. Candice Leatherwood paced the team with 14 points, while Allie Gorcyca added 9 points and 5 assists.
The Freshman team entered the CHSL playoffs against a Divine Child team that took first place during the regular season. After the 1st quarter the game was tied 7-7. The team then put on a great offensive and defensive display outscoring the Falcons 15-1. The third quarter saw the visitors creep back into the game outscoring the young Marlins by 8. The team regrouped, outscored Divine Child 9-8 resulting in a very impressive 36-29 victory.
The Varsity team concluded Central Divsion play with a 45-37 road win at Regina. Sarah Benson had 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 steals; Sam Bauer had 10 points and 5 rebounds; Allie Gorcyca chipped in with 9 points and 2 assists; Sierra LaGrande tallied 7 points; Tyler Parlor had 4 points and 5 rebounds; Michaela Mazur had 2 points and 3 steals; Candice Leatherwood added 2 points and 5 assists; Paige Roberts had a rebound; Meghan Tarrance had 2 assists, and Jamie Jeffries also played. The Marlins finish at 6-2 in the Central Division, good for second place, and are 12-4 overall.
