February, 10, 2012 F/JV CHSL Quarterfinals vs. Divine Child

The Freshman team entered the CHSL playoffs against a Divine Child team that took first place during the regular season. After the 1st quarter the game was tied 7-7. The team then put on a great offensive and defensive display outscoring the Falcons 15-1. The third quarter saw the visitors creep back into the game outscoring the young Marlins by 8. The team regrouped, outscored Divine Child 9-8 resulting in a very impressive 36-29 victory. This leaves the team 13-3 for the season as they prepare to take on Notre Dame Prep in the tournament semi-finals.
