Pizza, Jamz and Jeans
Pizza, Jamz and Jeans is an informal, light-hearted concert held in Mercy’s cafeteria in mid October. The Marlin Chorus, Concert Chorale, and Mercyaires perform pop music, following a dinner of pizza, salad and pop. Music students are encouraged to audition for solo, duo and group numbers that the students present for review. Families, friends and alumnae are welcome to join the fun-filled evening and to get “into the groove.”
Admission Fee: $5.00 per person at the door.

Christmas Concert
The Christmas Concert celebrates the serious classroom work of the Marlin Chorus, Concert Chorale, Mercyaires and instrumentalists in the Performing Arts Department. Students may audition to perform individual selections at the concert which is held in Mercy’s auditorium. Both traditional and religious holiday music are presented as the school celebrates the birth of Christ. Featured music rotates on a two-year basis between Handel’s “Messiah” and “Ceremony of the Carols.” Besides families and friends of the performers, Mercy alumnae are invited to “come home to Mercy” at the holidays to participate in the concert.
Admission Fee: $5.00 per person at the door.

Spring Concert
Held in mid May, the Spring Concert showcases the work of the Concert Chorale, Mercyaires, and Orchestra during second semester. Students may audition for solo, duo and group numbers of their choosing that are in keeping with the theme of the program. The concert, which is held in Mercy’s auditorium, is open to the general public.
Admission fee: $5.00 per person at the door.
