April President’s Notes

Hello Mercy Moms!

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. It’s hard to believe we are approaching the close of the 2011/2012 school year. Time sure does fly when you’re having fun with Mercy moms!

Monday, May 7th, will be our last Mothers Club meeting for the school year. We will begin at 6:30 sharp with a few committee reports, and follow with the official board transition. I will “pass the gavel” over to Margaret Anne Crowley, your new president. In turn, she will introduce the 2012/2013 board and committee chairs to you. Please join us as we celebrate a very successful and fun year!

The opportunity to serve as president of the Mothers Club this year has truly been an honor and a privilege. I have been blessed with the most amazing board, committee chairs and volunteers!  Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for all of the wonderful women here at Mercy. Thanks to all the hard work, dedication, and support of these women, Mothers Club enjoyed another successful year.  I would also like to thank Mrs. Witte for her guidance and support throughout the school year andJulie Earle for her technical support throughout the year! Each and every one of you made my job so much easier! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your time, talents and generosity. Mercy’s Mothers Club is a wonderful organization and joy to be a part of.

Please save the date for the first Mothers Club meeting of the 2012/2013 school year, Monday, September 10, 2012.  If you just can’t get enough, and are looking for ways to volunteer throughout the summer, please see the list of events below. • June 5 (Tuesday):  New Parent Picnic
• August (3 days in mid-August):  Used Book Sale and Uniform Sale

Mercy Mothers Club

Membership: Membership in the Mothers Club is open to all women (parent or guardian) of a current Mercy High School student. Generally meetings are held the first Monday of the month. Be sure to check the calendar for exact dates and times.

Purpose and Goals:

1. To support Mercy High School spiritually, socially andfinancially.

2. To develop closer relationships with our daughters.

3. To supportfellow members of the Mothers Club and Dads Club.

Committees:

The Mothers Club is responsible for a variety of committees and activities throughout the year. Each event is chaired by a member of the Mothers Club and is staffed by volunteers. Without your time and talents the Mothers Club simply cannot be a success.
