Hello, and welcome to my website! I taught Spanish in the 1980's, including 2 1/2 years at Mercy, before taking a break to stay home with my young children. In 1995 I was fortunate to be able to return to Mercy, and to new adventures in a different department. This is my twelfth year teaching religion; this year I have also returned to my beginning, with three first-year Spanish classes. I have a B.A. in Spanish and teaching certificate from Wayne State University, a certificate in pastoral ministry from Sacred Heart Seminary, and a Master's degree in Religious Studies from University of Detroit Mercy. I am excited about the opportunity given to me as a teacher at Mercy High School to share my faith and to learn from my students. I am married with two children, including a daughter in the twelfth grade at Mercy (where else?). I am active in my parish, Our Lady of Loretto in Redford (Six Mile and Beech Daly). Currently I'm part of the RCIA team and a member of a liturgical ensemble that sings on Sunday. Join us for 11:00 Mass! Check out our website at http://www.ourladyoflorettoparish.org |
