Grading: Accumulative point system.
Homework quizzes = 5 points* Pop quizzes and work sheets = 5 to 20 points
Tests = 80 to 100 points Final exams = 100 to 120 points
Homework will not be collected.
First semester will cover chapters 1 to 5
Second semester will cover chapters 6 to 9
And preparation for the AP test
Some Rules:
1. Be on time.
2. Please, no talking during lecture time.
3. If you have a question, put your hand up and wait to be called.
4. You must have permission to leave the room.
5. All make-up work must be made up within one cycle.
6. The teacher is the final authority on any topic what-so-ever.
Materials: Pencils, ruler, notebook for notes and access to the Internet.
A graphing calculator of the TI-83 family is required.
*Homework Quizzes will comprise of one homework problem and will be given one (or more days) after a homework section has been discussed in class.
