General
The science department at Mercy High School offers a wide variety of courses that will give you an advantage over other students when you enter college. Our program is centered around our core curriculum of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. We have found these three courses, in this order, to be the most beneficial and asked for by colleges today. These core courses can be supplemented with our electives to round out your high school science curriculum. Courses in Advanced Placement Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as Human Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology complete our course offerings. We also offer two levels of chemistry and physics; for college-bound and non-college-bound alike. We feel that we meet the needs of all of our students.
